The support has been glued onto a wooden stretcher and is slightly bowed. There are losses along the edges and in particular to the corners. The top left corner is delaminating, and there are pin holes visible along the edges. There are scuff marks to the poster in the upper left, as well as minor scuffs and surface scratches elsewhere. There is a general layer of surface dirt as well as drip marks to the sitter's knee and faint spots of mould throughout the composition. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any obvious signs of retouching. Unframed.
