signed and titled in Cyrillic and dated nachalo 30-kh godov on the reverse

Canvas: 48.5 by 39.5cm, 19 by 15¾in.

Framed: 61 by 52cm, 24 by 20½in.

Original canvas on a new stretcher. The canvas has worn through in three of the corners and there are frame abrasions at the edges. It is buckling slightly. There is an area of craquelure in the centre of a jacket. There is a light layer of surface dirt. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Framed.
