ROBERT FRANK | PARIS
gelatin silver print, signed in ink in the margin, the 'Robert Frank Archive' and copyright stamps, with credit, date, and annotations in ink and pencil, on the reverse, 1948, printed later
8½ by 13 in. (21.6 by 33 cm.)
This photograph is in generally excellent condition. There is a soft one-inch crescent-shaped crease near the upper edge that does not appear to break the emulsion. The margins have a few gentle handling creases and edge and corner wear.
The reverse is annotated in unidentified hands in pencil: '216 [circled]'; 'A-1 [circled]'; and '2720' inside the Robert Frank Archive stamp. The copyright stamp is credited and dated '1980' in ink in an unidentified hand.
