This early print, trimmed to the image and on paper with a velvety surface and a slight sheen, is in generally very good to excellent condition. When viewed in raking light, the following are visible: some silvering; small impressions; surface scratches and soft handling creases that do not break the emulsion; and a few glossy deposits at the lower center edge.
'PF18211' and 'B.M.' are written in pencil in an unidentified hand on the reverse. The reverse is slightly soiled.
When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce. There is a Ginny Williams Collection label on the reverse of the mat.
