Condition Report

This palladium print is in generally excellent condition. Upon examination, there is a 1/2-inch soft crease and a very small (1/8-inch diameter) waterstain to the left of the sitter's hat. The print has rich tones which range from soft charcoal black to creamy off-white.


The mount is appropriately age-darkened and has some edge and corner wear. The mount is faintly sunned at the image periphery. At the upper edge of the mount, there is a tack hole. There are a few foxmarks.


The reverse is discolored and darkened at the center. There are a few foxmarks. It is annotated in an unidentified hand in pencil '5601' and '65868-3.'
