SIGNED BY TERENCE STAMP

Art by Bob Peak (1927-1992)

41 x 27 in. (104 x 69 cm)

This film was directed by Joseph Losey and is roughly based on the popular comic strip Modesty Blaise by Peter O'Donnell. The film stars Monica Vitti (in her first English speaking role), Terence Stamp and Dirk Bogarde. Modesty Blaise, a former criminal mastermind, is recruited by the British government to protect a shipment of diamonds on their way to a Middle Eastern sheik. This shipment also attracts the attention of the head of a criminal organisation. Nothing can faze Modesty Blaise, the world's deadliest and most dazzlingly female agent!

This poster was signed by Terence Stamp, after he had given a talk about the film Teorema, at the BFI, London. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
