Condition report

Both canvases are lined. They presents a decorative image with some of the shadow definition in the leaves well preserved. A little discoloring due to old retouches is visible to the naked eye here and there. Inspection under UV for both reveals scattered retouches and repairs throughout, which is normal for a painting of this size. Two horizontal lines of retouching associated with the stretcher bar run across the extreme edges on both panels by the figures' chests and knees. Paintings can hang as is. Offered in a giltwood frame.
