Condition report

Canvas has a really old, thin lining. The image reads well underneath a dirty surface. Stretcher bar marks are visible along the edges, especially on the upper edge. Some discoloring is visible, like on the shirt of the figure at right. Stable craquelure is scattered throughout. Inspection under UV is difficult to read due to its old varnish, but some scattered spots of retouching are probably here and there. Painting could benefit from a cleaning and freshened varnish. Offered framed.
