each of almost conical form rising from a short foot to a gently flaring rim, the exterior covered with a rich deep red glaze, the interior and base left white, inscribed to the base with a six-character reign mark in underglaze blue

Collection of Claudio Cortini, secretary of Italian Legation in Beijing during 1928-1931, acquired from Agostino Chang, 30th October 1930 (receipt).
