MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
the rectangular top panel set within a mitred frame above a high waist and gently curved apron delicately carved with foliate motifs, continuing to slender cabriole legs terminating in ruyi feet, all supported on a rectangular base
38.6 by 27.7 by h. 79 cm, 15 ⅛ by 11 by h. 31 ⅛ in.
The stand is in good overall condition with the apron of the base intact. There are scratches and polishing to the underside of the top frame, suggesting a possible alteration from a drawer.
