Condition report

Original canvas. The work appears to be in very good overall condition.


Artist's pinholes to each corner and to to the canvas overlap. A few frame abrasions to the extreme edges. There are some fine lines of craquelure to the light green curved line towards the left half of the upper edge and towards the upper left corner, only visible upon close inspection, with possible further more minor instances elsewhere. There are extremely minor fine lines of reticulation and craqeuelure to the ochre and grey-blue form to the left of the dotted green form, and to the dark blue paint towards the centre of the left edge, only visible upon extremely close inspection, with one or two possible further more minor instances elsewhere. There is surface dirt to the work, and a few specks studio detritus.


Inspection under Ultraviolet light does not appear to reveal any signs of fluorescence or retouching.


The work is presented in a painted wooden slip in a painted wooden frame behind glass.
