The work is attached to the mount with strips of adhesive tape to the upper and lower edges on the reverse. The sheet undulates, most evident at and towards the upper edge. There is some very light creasing towards the corners of the left-hand side, and to the centre of the right edge, with possible more minor instances elsewhere. There is a possible smudge below the left proper knee, with two or three handling marks visible. There are some tiny flecks of foxing to the sheet. There is some light surface dirt and a few instances of studio detritus to the work. This excepting, the work appears in very good overall condition.

The work is window mounted and presented in a painted wooden frame under glass.
