Structure: The work is stretched and canvas appears original.
Surface: Areas of uneven varnish, only visible in raking light. Several light very minor dents to the canvas. These light and small dents appear to be due to previous rolling as they run in several horizontal lines across the work. There appears to be a vertical ripple line in the upper centre of the work, measuring approx. 200mm long. This is visible only on close inspection. Light rippling in the canvas visible along lower right hand edge. White traces to the middle of the top edge.
UV Light: Inspection under UV light reveals some uneven fluorescence but no clear signs of restoration or repair.
Overall: The work is in very good condition.
