• Movement: gilded full plate, verge escapement, plain flat balance, decoratively pierced and engraved balance bridge centred with a sheaf of arrows engraved Propatria and surrounded by flora, foliage and fruit, decoratively pierced and engraved asymmetrical foot surrounding the silver regulation plate, baluster pillars, fusee and chain, signed N. Weylandt, Amsterdam

• Dial: silver champlevé dial, large aperture with rotating disc divided into day and night, the hours indicated to an outer semi-circular chapter ring with Roman numerals, the daytime hours indicated by a gilt sun with pointer, the night hours indicated by the moon with pointer, outer Arabic minute track, aperture for date, lacking minute hand, the lower half of the dial with chased and engraved harbour scene depicting sailing ships and rowing boats
