Movement: frosted gilded, highly jewelled, pivoted detent escapement with gold escape wheel, triangular locking jewel, free-sprung bi-metallic compensation balance with blued steel spherical spring, fusee and chain, the independent seconds train with standing barrel, two polished steel hammers repeating on coiled gongs, signed Moulinié on pillar plate beneath dial

Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minutes/seconds ring, four subsidiary dials for day, month, date and seconds, blued steel fleur-de-lys hands

Case: 18ct gold, heavily chased and engraved throughout with stylised flowers, foliage and geometric motifs, the band and bow similarly decorated, repeating slide and stop slide for centre seconds to the band, large diamond-set pendant, polished gold cuvette with apertures for winding and hand-setting, signed Paul Buhré, Pétersbourg and with black champlevé enamel foliate border, all covers numbered 31226
