Under UV inspection, a small oval-shaped repair is visible in the upper left background, along with a few retouches throughout the edges of the background. Small, fine retouching lines are visible in the girl's face and on her chest, probably applied in multiple campaigns. Overall the portrait has been well restored and can hang in its present condition. Offered in a decoratively carved giltwood frame.
