Set with an oval sapphire weighing 12.89 carats, embellished with single- and rose-cut diamonds, signed Cartier, French assay mark (bigorne), size 4½.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72429, dated 23 January 2014, stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.

Metal tested as platinum. Signed Cartier, with French assay mark (Bigorne). Sapphire is of medium dark tone, slightly violetish blue colour and medium strong saturation, under 10x magnification, there are minor typical inclusions with a few lightly to the surface, minor silk inclusions are noticeable at certain angles and lighting, there are also some abrasions, nicks, pits, scratches and tiny chips but all are not noticeable when worn. Diamonds are bright and lively.
Signs of normal wear to the metal commensurate with age, a few minor discolouration at the solder joints, with evidence of resize. Overall in good condition.
