There is a very fine, historic hairline running down approximately 3cm. from the inside lip of the main body of the teapot, with one tiny resultant fleck of loss, only visible upon very close inspection and when the lid is dislodged. two very small chips on the base. There is a chance that the spout may have been filed down at an earlier stage. There are some traces of light surface dirt, including a light oxidisation to the copper elements of the handle, but this excepting the work appears in good overall condition. Inspected under Ultraviolet light.
