Né en 1928 à Milan, Pierino Frascarolo est un joaillier connu pour ses bijoux en émail et en or représentant des animaux. Il travailla d'abord en Italie avant de monter un atelier à New-York. Cette bague est représentative de sa production des années 1960.

In the form of a tiger, applied with coloured enamel, the eyes set with circular-cut rubies and the sides accented by circular-cut diamonds, size 51^1/2, French import assay mark and Italian stamps for 18 carat gold, maker's mark for Frascarolo, gross weight 20.02 grams.

Born in 1928 in Milan, Pierino Frascarolo is famous for his enamel and gold animals. He worked in Italy before moving to New York. This Tiger is a typical design of the 1960s production.
