Peint en 1910.

Please note that this work is sold with no frame. Oil on cardboard laid down on canvas. Cardboard is stable and slightly undulating, notably along the upper edge. There is a milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating. However examination under UV light appears to reveal two spots of retouching to the boy's face. There is some light abrasion associated with dots of paint losses in places, notably towards the lower edge, and a few pinholes, notably towards the left part of the upper edge. There is some dirt ingrained to the varnish in places. This work is in overall good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
