The canvas is not lined. Inspection under UV light reveals a milky varnish through which the UV light cannot fully penetrate. There are a handful of tiny flecks of loss at the extreme edges and corners, some with associated minimal lines of retouching (predominantly to the upper most and right most edge), due to frame rubbing and not visible when framed. There are occasional very fine hairline vertical cracks, most noticeable to the left side of the composition, and a further tiny nick towards the left of the glass base. This work is in overall good condition.
