Significantly increased in popularity over the past few years, vintage tool watches have become more and more sought after as knowledge on vintage watches have become more accessible either from books or the internet. The Patek Philippe reference 3700 Nautilus designed by Gerald Genta, introduced in 1976, was the most expensive tool watch ever made at the time. Nicknamed “Jumbo” for its larger than average case size at the time. The present example is double signed by Tiffany & Co., further elevating this vintage steel Patek Philippe wristwatch.
The present Jumbo retailed by Tiffany & Co. is an incredibly rare watch to come by. In a very attractive and more importantly original condition, the watch has a beautiful blue color tone and attractive luminous plots while retaining its original bracelet with Nautilus clasp.
