The genesis of the Offshore version of the Royal Oak came from a young second generation watch designer called Emmanuel Gueit who developed Gerald Genta’s iconic Royal Oak design into something considered more modern, larger and sportier. Originally launched in 1993 under the reference 25721ST, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore is one of the most impressive models ever created by the Le Brassus based Manufacture.
The present Royal Oak Offshore is cased in 18k pink gold with a clack ceramic bezel secured by 8 screws, with a screw down crown, rectangular pushers and pink gold crown guards. The dials features a black “Méga Tapisserie” pattern with contrasting silvered chronograph registers. The automatic Calibre 3126 with 59 jewels and 50 hour power reserve is visible though the exhibition case back.
The current example has received an Audemars Piguet factory service and remains service sealed and retains its full suite of accessories.
