Released from 1998 to 2008, the Collection Privée Cartier Paris is an extremely limited series of watches, combining traditional Cartier case designs with complicated movements. Bearing the shape of the Tortue designed by Louis Cartier in 1912, the present example employs a generous perpetual calendar which incorporates a French day indication at 3 o’clock. Two distinctive features could also be found on the dial, the “PARIS” engraving under the Cartier logo and the rose inspired pattern. These virtues are highly appreciated by watch collectors, making it an exotic beauty to enjoy on the wrist.
