Overall in very good condition. The metal surfaces have recently been cleaned by a professional conservator and present with oxidation throughout consistent with age and the artist’s intent. The metal surfaces hence present with contrasting hues and color ranging from gold to fiery copper. The metal with occasional surface scratches concentrated to the base as well as very minimal soiling concentrated to the recessed areas on the base. The underside of the cattails and one edge of the base with very minor irregularities to the metal surface which are inherent to production and not visually distracting. The rods show no sign of bending and are in very good condition overall.
