delicately potted with the deep rounded sides rising from a short foot, with a narrow groove encircling the exterior below the rim, bathed in a lustrous black glaze and splashed with russet cascading from the caramel brown-colored rim, the glaze falling short of the foot to reveal the stoneware body dressed in a thin coat of brown slip

The bowl with scattered restoration to rim frits and two small chips, the largest approximately 1 cm. The foot with kiln cohesions.
