intricately carved and pierced in openwork with a sinuous coiling dragon amidst a dense background of curling stems issuing floral blooms and leaves, the dragon with finely defined details and neatly incised mane, the smoothly polished stone of an even color, mounted on a silver box chased with a matching design, the base inscribed with an unidentified maker's mark GP and a studio mark H.
