each with shallow rounded sides resting on a short foot, the exterior with a central medallion enclosing an aubergine and a green dragon fiercely contesting a 'Flaming Pearl', the underside with four aubergine double clusters of grapes, all against a translucent egg-yolk yellow ground, the base with a six-character mark in aubergine within a double circle (2)
Diameter 5⅛ in., 13.2 cm
One with two cracks by the aubergine dragon and the other with a faint line to the rim, likely a glaze crack, visible from the interior only. Both with characteristic wear and slight imperfections consistent with age and type.
