The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by the late Madame Marguerite Duthuit-Matisse.
The work is in very good condition. Executed on cream wove paper. The sheet is hinged to a mount at two places along the upper edge of its verso. The edges of the sheet are slightly discolored. Discoloration in the upper left and upper right corners due to a previous mounting. A couple extremely minor spots of possible foxing.
