In 2016, a really perfumed nose encapsulating both aniseed and game, with a touch of mint. On the palate, this has all the layers of a top Burgundy - this was a great year for Hermitage. There is totally tempting sweetness at the end - a very fine drink, right now. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
