Designed as a bouquet of violets, the carved amethyst flowers accented with round and single-cut diamonds, further decorated with carved nephrite leaves, completed by polished gold stems.

In good condition, the mounting with scratching and abrasions to the gold commensurate with wear. With minor solder marks to the reverse of the brooch. Brooch and pin stamped with Austrian assay marks for 18 karat gold and Vienna, mounted in white and yellow gold. Also with maker's mark. Amethysts of medium to deep violetish purple, moderately to heavily included, with few chips to the edges and surfaces scratches, one with larger chip but not immediately noticeable when worn. A few of the petals are loose but should not affect wearability. Deep green nephrite in good condition. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.00 - 1.50 carats, and are bright and lively. Gross weight approximately 57 dwts.
