The presentation is to the actress Anna Quayle (1932 – 2019) and the inscription dates from 1963 when she appeared on Broadway in the original production of Stop the World - I Want to Get Off opposite Anthony Newley. Anna Quayle won a Tony Award for Best Supporting Musical Actress in this production.
