Un modèle similaire fut livré par Claude Galle en 1809 pour la chambre à coucher de l'Empereur au Grand Trianon (cf. D. Ledoux-Lebard, Le Grand Trianon, Mobilier et objets d'art, Paris, 1975, p. 166). Une autre paire figure dans le salon de déjeun (sic) de l'Impératrice au château de Compiègne (cf. J.M. Moulin, Guide du musée national du château de Compiègne, Paris, 1992, p. 86-87).
A similar model was delivered in 1809 by the bronzier Claude Galle for the Emperor bedroom at the Grand Trianon (cf. D. Ledoux-Lebard, Le Grand Trianon, Mobilier et objets d'art, Paris, 1975, p. 166). Another pair is visible in the Empress salon de déjeun at the château de Compiègne (cf. J.M. Moulin, Guide du musée national du château de Compiègne, Paris, 1992, p. 86-87).
