Overall in very good condition. The shade displays a vibrant variegated green palette ranging from emerald to olive to apple green when viewed firsthand. The shade with approximately 3 hairline cracks dispersed throughout, stable. The etched filigrees overlaying the dragonfly wings are entirely intact with some oxidation throughout, consistent with age. The shade with some traces of surface soiling concentrated to the contours adjacent to the leadlines and beneath the wing overlays, consistent with age. The base displays a rich brown patina and presents with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions throughout consistent with age and gentle use. The telescoping mechanism is fully operational. The base with some light surface soiling to the recessed contours of the design. The top of the base foot with some slight roughness to the patina surrounding the clawfeet, possibly from overcleaning or the application of a clear spray. With period sockets. With a period finial in very good condition. A highly complementary shade and base pairing with vibrant coloration.
