The shade with approximately 11 hairline cracks dispersed throughout, stable. The shade with some traces of surface soiling concentrated to the contours adjacent to the leadlines, consistent with age. The shade with some evidence of resoldering around the upper ring. The base displays a rich brown patina and presents with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions throughout consistent with age and gentle use. The telescoping mechanism is fully operational. The base with some minor areas of flaking to the patina on the top of the base foot. With period sockets. With a period finial in very good condition. A beautifully proportioned shade and base pairing with a cheerful, naturalistic springtime palette.
