Condition Report

Overall in very good condition. Both lamps present with rich and variegated blood orange hues to the lacquered parchment surface when seen in person. The acrylic and lacquered surfaces present with very minor scratches throughout consistent with gentle handling. The side of one lamp with a very minor dimple to the lacquered surface measuring approximately 1/2 inch long and not visible unless closely inspected. The silvered metal surfaces in very good condition with some very minor and occasional loss to the silver plating concentrated to recessed areas of the sockets which are consistent with age and use. The shades may have been sensitively replaced at some point in the history of the pieces and are in excellent condition. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
