Condition Report

Overall in very good condition. This iconic model by the French architect and designer is fully functional and in well-preserved condition. The laminated tabletop with scratches, scuffing and wear throughout consistent with age and gentle use. The edges of the tabletop with scattered minor dents and abrasions to the laminated surface consistent with age and use. The ash surface on the sides of the tabletop with expected signs of age, namely surface scratches and darkening to the wood, which are not visually distracting. The enameled steel surface with scattered areas of light surface scratches, scuffing, and occasional loss to the enamel mostly concentrated to the lower half of the legs, the feet, and sides of the table, consistent with age and use. Please note that the drawers were never available to the current owner and can be replaced at the client’s discretion. A highly sculptural and emblematic piece by Prouvé.
