Condition Report

Overall in very good condition. The wooden surfaces display rich and variegated tones, particularly on top of the chest, and present with occasional surface scratches throughout and very light surface abrasions concentrated to the side edges consistent with gentle use. The wooden surfaces with occasional and scattered areas of minor and superficial restorations concentrated to one leg and one corner of the surface top. The wood also presents with scattered minute old wormholes concentrated to the front legs of the piece and not visually distracting. The fruitwood marquetry is in very well-preserved condition. The bronze surfaces, including the original key, present with very light oxidation and discoloration throughout consistent with age.
