Volume 1: Bifolia (16 1/2 x 10 in.; 419 x 254 mm, uncut). 9 original etchings by Duchamp on handmade paper, 144 facsimile reproductions of Duchamp's notes (with English translations) and preliminary studies for The Large Glass. Publisher's stiff wrappers, lettered in black and red, enclosed in glassine. White buckram chemise, spine lettered in black and red; some light soiling. Plexiglass slipcase with color reproduction of The Large Glass; some rubbing and wear with small loss to image — Volume 2: Same format as volume 1. 9 original etchings by Duchamp, text on sources of The Large Glass. Wrappers identical to those of volume 1. Burnt orange chemise and slipcase, facsimile of a Duchamp inscription on slipcase; some wear.

Each volume, one of 95 numbered copies (of a whole edition of 150. Volume 1 numbered 48; volume 2, 68. Each signed by Schwarz and Duchamp.The nine etchings in the first volume depict the most important elements of The Large Glass. Those in the second volume are devoted to the theme of The Lovers.
