This diptych of gelatin silver prints is in generally very good condition. The following are visible upon close examination in raking light: some scattered creases, a few of which appear to break the emulsion; 2 tiny tears (each measuring no longer than 1/4-inch) at the margin edges; scattered superficial hairline scratches and scuffs; fingerprints; and soiling. The edges and corners have original chipping and wear. The sheets are gently rippled.
The reverses are lightly soiled. Each print is signed in ink on the reverse and the left print also is signed in pencil. 'RMG # PE9702.110-0' is in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse of each print.
