This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of handling and wear visible to the extreme edges, particularly along the top edge and intermittently in the vicinity of the bottom left and right corners where minute and unobtrusive areas of paint loss are visible. There are artist's pinholes in each corner. There is a slight undulation to the sheet inherent to the artist's chosen medium and working method. There is a network of fine craquelure in the pigment with some associated lifting, extending approximately 1 inch, 4 1/2 inches from the left edge and 3 inches from the bottom edge. Further inspection reveals a few scattered areas of craquelure in the pigment, most noticeably along the central vertical axis 2 1/2 inches from the bottom edge and on the same axis 3 1/2 inches from the top edge. The sheet is hinged verso to the mat at the top two edges. Framed under Plexiglas.
