Collection of Sidney & Bernice Clyman
signed and dated 1980
oil on canvas
24 by 53¼ in. 61 by 135.3 cm.
framed: 26 by 55 in. 66 by 139.7 cm.
This work is in very good condition overall. There is very light evidence of handling along the edges of the canvas, which are taped. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. Under very close inspection and extreme raking light, there is a small area of faint, vertical hairline cracking along the lower left edge. The canvas is slightly loose on its stretcher and undulates lightly in the lower corners, most noticeably when viewed from an angle. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, the aforementioned areas of vertical cracking fluoresce faintly and appear to have benefited from restoration. Framed.
