CAMPBELL'S SOUP CAN
signed and dated 62 on the reverse
graphite on paper
23¾ by 18 in. 60.3 by 45.7 cm.
framed: 31¼ by 25½ in. 79.4 by 64.8 cm.
This work is in very good condition overall. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist's working method. There are some minor graphite smudges where the medium has been applied more thickly at the top and bottom of the can and in the 'm,' likely a result of the artist's working method. Only visible under very close inspection, there are a couple of minor and unobtrusive pinpoint light beige spot accretions at the top and upper edges of the sheet. The sheet is hinged verso to the matte at the corners. Framed under Plexiglas.
