This work is in very good condition overall. Under very close inspection, there is minor evidence of handling to the edges. There are artist’s pinhole’s present in the corners, which have discolored to a slightly reddish color. The surface textures are inherent to the artist’s medium and working method. Under very close inspection and extreme raking light, there is a small hairline tear along the left brim of the subject’s hat, which is inherent to the artist’s working method. The sheet is hinged verso to the mat intermittently along the edges. Framed under Plexiglas.
