signed and dated 37

oil on panel

52 by 42 in. 132.1 by 106.7 cm.

framed: 53½ by 43½ in. 135.9 by 110.5 cm.

This work is in very good condition overall. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. Under close inspection, there is minor evidence of handling to the edges. The surface texture is inherent to the artist’s chosen medium and working method. Impasto peaks remain secure and intact throughout. Nail holes are present intermittently along the edges, likely from the time of execution. Under very close inspection, there is stable hairline craquelure scattered throughout with a few pinpoint areas of resultant loss. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
