with long slender neck, short beard, grooved eyebrows , and concentric semicircular ears, the large eyes and circular ornament on the chin formerly inlaid.

Height 10 5/8 in. (27 cm.)

As shown. Top and back roughly worked, as is customary with this type of funerary heads.

Note chipped tip of nose.

Chips along proper right side and bottom of chin. Another one on proper left side of chin. Minor chips, abrasions, and scratches elsewhere.

Remains of root-marks mostly on proper right cheek.

Mounted on a brass rod clamped at the top and bottom and inserted into a Perspex base. Stand typical of the 1960s/1970s.
