Painted in 1923.
The canvas is wax-lined and there is frame abrasion along the extreme edges. There is fine surface cracking in the white pigments and there appear to be a few scattered surface accretions. Under UV: there are scattered dots of inpainting in the background, in the figure, and in the horse.
