The canvas is strip-lined and there are stretcher bar marks visible at the upper edge. The surface of the work appears to be slightly dirty. Under UV: there is a small spot of inpainting in the water at right to address a small puncture with a corresponding patch on the reverse. There are a few other scattered pindots of inpainting, including a very thin line in the foreground.
