This painting will be included in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné of Edward Redfield's work being compiled by Dr. Thomas Folk.
The canvas is unlined and the tacking edges are covered with brown tape. There is some isolated surface cracking in the areas of thicker impasto. Under UV: although some pigments fluoresce they appear to be the artist's original work.
