In 1810, the bronzier Ravrio provided an identical set of four wall lights for the second salon of Empress Maire-Louise's appartment at the château de Compiègne (inv. C229.C ; see J.M. Moulin, Guide du musée national du château de Compiègne, Paris, 1992, p. 70-72, cat. n° 19).
